Wake up, wake up and see the smokescreens that they pull over your eyes. Everyday monotony has clouded our senses to see the world as we should. Every being of our existence is a disease to it. Pretty
soon there'll be nowhere left to hide. Can we come to our senses? Something's got to be done. It won't be long until we lose what everyone has to share. Wake up before they take you in the night and throw away
the key. Then again it's too far gone, the snowball effect is out of control. Wake up, take a stand. Wake up, show you can. For all the years building us up will only make things quicker to pull us all back down. We are our own enemy, looks like the joke is on us.

It's hard to describe why I love this album so much. It's just perfect in every way. Every track is so spectacular, but Knives and it's build up to that spectacular heavy part just takes the cake. Fantastic album from a fantastic band that needs to get back together. whatwasallthisfor
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024

I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
